Lara Abiona is the External Relations Manager at Baobab Consulting, where she manages all of Baobab’s external communications and outreach to align all language and external materials with Baobab’s brand, mission, and values. She advises the company on our approach to strategic partnerships, publicity, and all external affairs.
Lara is currently pursuing an MSc Development Studies at the London School of Economics. She also holds a Bachelors in Sociology and International Studies with a French minor from Trinity College in Hartford, CT. Prior to joining Baobab, Lara ran her own company, Afrophilic Freelancing Services, where she offered communications consulting in the African Affairs space in the Washington, DC area.
