Selina’s focus is Baobab’s People as she leads the HR department. If you are interested in working with Baobab, she will review your application. But don’t worry, her philosophy is that ‘people are a company’s most valuable asset.’
Selina has a diverse background ranging from positions in various startups to Consulting to Strategic Partner Management. Her passion for the African continent was born in Kenya, where she worked with an NGO, that provides disengaged children with access to good education and any other support. As Co-Director, she was involved in: Project Management, Financial and Partner Management, HR, Advisory, Social Media, and PR. The deep connections she built in Kenya magnified her interest in the continent and its fascinating cultures and people. Her desire to better understand people’s needs and behaviours led her to start a Master’s program in Behavioural and Organizational Psychology.
She holds an undergraduate degree in International Business Administration and Foreign Trade from Germany and is currently based in Accra, Ghana.
