Waithera is a Kenyan scientist and researcher currently specializing in the synthesis and development of drug delivery nanoparticles for treatment of neurological disorders and brain diseases.
At Baobab, she currently works as an advisor for the partnerships team. Previously, she worked with the partnerships team to grow the company’s partnership base and increase and sustain partnership engagements.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in Industrial Chemistry and is currently pursuing a PhD in Polymer Chemistry at the University of Connecticut.
