Liz is an Entrepreneur and Communications Strategist with extensive experience in building global partnerships and campaigns. With a focus on international education and talent development in Africa, her unique experiences and broad network  come from 14 years of studying, living, and working in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Diaspora. She has consulted on communications strategy, education policy and entrepreneurship for organizations such as the African Development Bank, USAID, the Food and Agricultural Organization, UNESCO and UNICEF. She has worked in leadership roles for nonprofits in the education space including the Joyce Banda Foundation, Tostan, and spent three years as a high school teacher in Dakar, Senegal. 

She was named as one of Forbes’ Next 1000 and also sits on the board of Teach for Senegal, and serves on the Leadership Council for the Resolution Project. She holds her Masters in International Education Policy from Harvard University, and her Bachelors in Communications and International Development from Northwestern University.
